Take on a partner or undertake alone, two options that every entrepreneur encounters. If you choose the first option, be sure to ask this associate the right questions! When I started, I often felt alone in my entrepreneurial adventure! My parents are not entrepreneurs . My mom was a trapeze artist in different circuses and she put National Education recruitment ads under my pillow when I was filing LiveMentor's statutes. My father, a psychoanalyst, “summoned” me a year after the creation of the company to ask me a fundamental question:  “But Alexandre, what do you actually do with your days? » Before tackling this subject, here is an outline of the article: 1) No one around me really understood me. 2) I made the huge mistake of not telling anyone about my project. 3) It is easy and dangerous to be passionate about a subject 4) And I left disappointed each time… 5) How to choose the right partner? 6) Questions to ask your potential partner 7) Short exercise for you Good reading ! NO ONE AROUND ME REALLY UNDERSTOOD ME. My first reflex was isolation.

In the early days of LiveMentor, my life was like that of a retired monk: I would go to the library, and spend hours reading an incredible amount of resources on starting a business. I recorded them carefully thanks to a service ( Pearltrees ) which allows you to archive links in a digital library, but I made the mistake of not telling anyone about Mobile Phone Number my project. I reflected, I philosophized and above all I doubted. I MADE THE HUGE MISTAKE OF NOT TELLING ANYONE ABOUT MY PROJECT. What does it mean to feel alone? It's not being able to communicate your ideas. It's constantly having your project running in the background. It's being obsessed with micro-details. It's returning the same question, again and again, in his head. Worse, I locked myself into a bad reflex, that of wanting to learn everything.

But that's not the job of the entrepreneur, to learn everything. The most valuable feedback a mentor can give an entrepreneur is to  always allocate their time and attention to the right topics. But I didn't have this mentor by my side at the time to warn me: “Is it really a priority for you to spend 10 hours on the design of this page of the site, when you have no clients? » "Do you need examples of companies that are very successful in getting noticed on Facebook? » “We just lost 3 negotiations in a row, do you want to go back to your negotiation script together? » “Why do you bother looking for more customers... when tomorrow you can double your prices, without any risk? » Or a mentor to turn to for more personal questions: “I work more than my partner, how should I react? » “I lack confidence, I dare not succeed” "In my family, money is taboo, I'm not used to managing a turnover" IT IS EASY AND DANGEROUS TO BECOME PASSIONATE ABOUT A SUBJECT Easy and dangerous to order 30 books on Amazon on natural referencing or self-confidence.
